You don’t have to be hardcore to enjoy cycling. Whether you’re biking with kids, or just out for a cruise, the following rides will make you smile.

Trezona Trail
This is Ely’s family trail. Cyclists, walkers and runners enjoy the Trezona, but it’s never crowded. Most of the trail is paved except for a few miles of packed dirt on the north side of the loop. Tip: Kids and families don’t have to do the full loop. Ride part way around the lake then turn around.

International Wolf Center
This ride follows the Mesabi bike trail from the Trezona trailhead in downtown Ely to the International Wolf Center. The path winds and undulates through classic boreal forest. It’s a great cruiser bike ride! Note: A $5 day pass is required.
